Scottish Jewelry
Sterling silver Scottish jewelry is much like Irish jewelry and Celtic jewelry. All three of these types of jewelry share a lot in common. The type of Scottish jewelry we are going to focus on is specifically jewelry that is totally Scottish. That's the Luckenbooth type of Scottish jewelry.
The first silver Scottish necklace we're looking at is an exception. It is Scottish but not Luckenbooth. It is a Scottish national emblem, the Scottish thistle. The other Scottish necklaces and charms are from the Luckenbooth variety of Scottish jewelry.
The sterling silver Scottish charms shown in the second Scottish necklace and in the Scottish charm below have the tell-tale signs of the Scottish Luckenbooth variety. They both have some similarities to an Irish Claddagh but are really Scottish symbols.
