Positive Affirmations
Affirmations are word, quotes or sayings that affirm or reaffirmation truth and when we use that power affirmation concept for self improvement then we can become more of what we want to become. But the catch is for positive affirmations to work they must be true statements. That very fact pulls me toward Christian positive affirmations. I take my positive affirmations primarily from the Holy Bible because it contains truth. Words or power words as I like to call them are inspired from the Bible.
Quotes that have related Biblical truth behind them serve as great affirmations as well. The concept comes from a verse in proverbs about as a man thinks so is he. I'm paraphrasing that scripture but that is the general idea.
The original sterling silver affirmation jewelry was created to support positive affirmations. Affirmation jewelry consists of affirmation charms and affirmation necklaces.
Let me give you an example of how this works. Let's take a positive passage of scripture from the Bible and go from there.
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity". (1 Timothy 4:12)
Let's just say, for example, that this great verse appeals to you. You could get several affirmation charms and put them on a necklace to help you remember this verse. In the First Timothy verse there are four affirmation charms to be used: Believe, Love, Life and Faith affirmation charms.
