When it gets right down to it, from a jewelry stand point there is no difference between shamrock jewelry and clover jewelry.  A clover and a shamrock look almost identical to each other but one is a much lighter color than green. Neither a clover or a shamrock represents three leaf or four-leaf clover. One is popular in Ireland and one in America.

The four-leaf clover is at home in the clover jewelry genre as well as the shamrock jewelry genre because the four-leaf clover is just as rare as in clovers as it is in shamrocks.
