Irish Jewelry

Irish Jewelry
Irish jewelry is a lot like Celtic jewelry in two ways. Irish jewelry is a huge genre of jewelry featuring rings, earrings, necklaces, pendants and charms. Irish jewelry is considered by many to be a pseudonym to Celtic jewelry or one in the same type of jewelry since there are no longer and Celts as the Celts became Irish, Scottish and English.

Because the Irish jewelry genre is so large we will limit our examination of Irish jewelry to just Irish earrings for this blog post.

Irish Earrings
Under the sub-genre of Irish earrings we will look at Claddagh earrings and clover earrings.

Claddagh earrings come in several shapes and styles as these two pictures of Claddagh earrings demonstrates.

Another type of Irish earrings includes this pair of sterling silver post clover earrings
