A few years ago DeBeers decided they needed to do something different to boost the sales of the slumping diamond market. So  they got their best minds together and came up with a marketing plan, the story of Past Present and Future, in hopes consumers would buy more diamonds - it worked. What started out as a new design for an anniversary ring exploded into other forms of jewelry for anniversary gifts, unique necklaces, and earrings.

Then in a very short period of time it became a gift for all occasions birthdays, Christmas etc. Then the concept of the past, present and future became so popular brides to be wanted it as their engagement ring and why not the story of love and romance was strong and goes like this... ( Although this is our version )

The first diamond represents the love that you have for each other in the past. The center diamond represents the love you have for each other in the present, the third diamond represents the blossoming love you'll have for each other in the future. That's why they call it the Past, Present and Future.

In the beginning the jewelry of Past Present and Future or also known as the 3 stone jewelry started off being made in white gold. Then soon moved to be manufactured in yellow gold and platinum. Today you can commonly find the 3 stone jewelry made in silver which also opened the doors for the presious gems like
emerald, garnet, pearl etc, and semi precious gems like blue topaz, aquamarine etc to be made manufactured in the now famous jewelry design.
